1: Introduction

The utility e-ascii is a small program that displays - yes, really, the ASCII table. All characters between ASCII 0 and 255 inclusive are shown, with their character representation (when printable) and with the ASCII code as hexadecimal, octal and decimal numbers.

e-ascii supports a number of flags. Try e-ascii -h to see usage information.

2: Obtaining and installing

e-ascii comes as an archive e-ascii-X.YY.tar.gz, where X.YY is a version identifier. The archive creates a subdirectory e-ascii/ and spills its contents there.
